We promised on our previous news post that we’ll continue to provide our fans with the 2017 Hasbro Release Lineup from various countries. So far we have received the official lists for Portugal, Middle-East, Peru and UK. Transformers: The Last Knight waves for Unites States & Canada were also revealed via Amazon.

Today we have Hasbro Poland revealing their lineup for us, which not only consists of Official Hasbro Products but also a list of Licensed Merchandise as well.

New Info:

• Transformers: The Last Knight Surprise Bags announced.
• Transformers: The Last Knight Hyperchangers announced.

One case carton contains 24 Transformers: The Last Knight Surprise Bags which are 14cm in individual package height (actual toy height will be shorter). This led us to believe that this is some sort of a Blindbag product line.

Thanks to Transformers: Peru we had our first look at Transformers: The Last Knight Hyperchangers on Wednesday night, which were lurking in the background of the Premier Edition Deluxe Bumblebee photo. Based on the info we received, the Hyperchangers are renamed AOE Flip & Changers and may very well contain some repaints/retools of the AOE line. We currently do not know of the relationship between Hyperchangers and the previously revealed 3-Step Armor Up Turbo Changers, but it seems that they are one and the same.

The rest of the line consists of items we’ve heard before. And you can take a look at the lineup which includes Transformers: Generations as well as Transformers: Robots In Disguise, after the jump.

We expect more countries to reveal the official line as we take the Road To New York Toy Fair 2017 where the Hasbro US 2017 Official Transformers Toyline is revealed.

Thanks to UK Retailer Smyths, we have with us the official images of Transformers: Robots In Disguise Combiner Force One-Step Changers Blurr and Sideswipe.

The figures were first seen in Philippines during a special release event.

2005 Boards Member Nevermore states that this is the third One-Step Changer Sideswipe for the RID line. However, this is a brand new mold and much more screen accurate.

Blurr is new and is a member of the Rescue Bots squad of the cartoon series of the same name. During a crossover episode, Sideswipe met Blurr and the blue speedster expressed his interest to join “The Bee Team” of Robots In Disguise.

Hasbro Pulse has a new update for us. Going behind the scenes of Transformers: Robots In Disguise, we are treated to a good look at how G1 inspired RID’s Starscream as well as Blurr from the upcoming third season.

What elements of the G1 Starscream sculpt inspired this redesign?
“We wanted to hold onto certain iconic design traits to maintain his epic look—such as his chest exhaust design, graphic pattern on his wing, his overall color scheme, and his twin null ray blasters.”

What was your motivation behind Blur’s build?
“Blur’s a fast talking, speed loving Autobot. We wanted his design to evoke the same sense of speed to be true to the core of the character.”

In another bit of sighting news, we can report that the newest assortment of Robots in Disguise Warriors have arrived at UK retail. Robots in Disguise Warrior Wave 10 includes the remolded Windblade, Skywarp, Soundwave, and Blurr. The set was spotted at a Sainsburys in Andover, in the UK. Shout! Factory have put up a listing for their latest Robots in Disguise DVD. The next DVD release for the series covers the pair of two-part episodes for Season 2 of the show – season premiere Overloaded, and mid-season finale Decepticon Island. It’s another DVD of random episodes, out of sequence from the series, making it hard to build up a complete series collection. However, for those interested, the DVD is set to arrive at the end of May 2017.

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner hosted the Toy Fair 2017 Hasbro Investor Day today and revealed future plans for the Transformers Franchise.

The game is on as Hasbro prepares to take the entertainment world by storm with Transformers: The Last Knight and the Transformers Cinematic Universe. New plans are underway for Transformers: Robots In Disguise and Transformers: Generations What a year it’s going to be.

Transformers: The Last Knight toys will be available on Quarter 2 of 2017.

Transformers Cinematic Universe plans will go ahead. Preparations for The Bumblebee Movie is being carried out. Brian Goldner Stated that bumblebee is one of the characters which went through a lot of changes over the past 30 years.

Celebrations of the 10th Anniversary of the first Transformers Live Action Movie will also take place this year.

Hasbro also showcased their Entertainment Line-up for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Transformers: Rescue Bots will go on until 2019. [The series is unstoppable at this point].

Transformers: Robots In Disguise will continue this year with Season 3 Combiner Force.

Hasbro will work with Machinima to bring the next stage of their partnership. Machinima Titans Return series in currently in production.

As stated earlier, Transformers Rescue Bots will go on for many years to come. New toyline is also planned with a new You Tube series.

Hasbro showcased Ultrabee and Bruticus from Transformers: Robots In Disguise Season 3 – Combiner Force.

Ultrabee toy was also shown.

Hasbro has tripled the Transformers toy sales among female demographic.

For the Generations Fans, the Fan Vote for the next Prime will be a major event.

In addition to that, Trypticon (Fan Vote Winner last year) will be released this year.

More Comic Books, Licensed Merchandise, Mobile Games (Forged To Fight) and a China-specific MMO game is planned for 2017.

Victory Hill will be showcasing a huge Transformers Live Event in China.

Brian Goldner stated that that they had an immense success with the Transformers Singles Day with their partnership with Alibaba. Hasbro is looking forward to work with China even more.

There’s a web series running in Russia which we’ve been made aware of which is pretty cool, hence we wanted to share it with you. Called Transformers: Portal, this web series kicked off last September and is currently on its seventh episode. Taking the form of a “motion comic”, it features a crossover between the Robots in Disguise and Generations / Titans Return timelines, along with some sharp artwork. TFW2005 member Arvegtor explains more:

The creator is Marvelous Group marketing agency, which works with Hasbro on Transformers, Play-Doh, Nerf and other brands (but they’re, obviously, not limited to just Hasbro). It’s far from their first Transformers project, they started with Beast Hunters toyline (when nobody believed it was official, so they had to record a special video at Hasbro Russia’s office to persuade them), but it’s the first one with animated content. Usually, they just make a series of competitions with a very basic storyline (for example, Optimus Prime orders to collect all minicons and then transports them all into space to destroy them, because they’re too powerful to live – and that’s RID Optimus, not Bayformers one), but Age of Extinction one had a comic and stop-motion videos.

“Transformers: Portal” is so far their biggest and longest project (it started in early September and has at two more stages planned + several text stories to explore context), and according to what I know, Hasbro likes it enough to order the next project in a similar format. The project’s website is “transformers-portal.ru”, the official vkontakte page is also a part of the picture (most of the projects before only used the vk page and they can still be found there).

While there is a language barrier to non-Russian fans enjoying this series, we’d encourage you to check out one of the episodes (which we’ve embedded after the break) to get a flavor of what Transformers fans abroad are enjoying.
